How we use cookies and similar technologies on our site - and why you won't see a cookie banner.

This Cookies Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies used on the Tacho Agent website at www.tachoagent.com and on our outreach landing page at www.tachoagent.co.uk (together, “our sites”), operated by Tacho Agent Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”). It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy. Cookies and similar technologies are covered in the UK by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) as well as the UK GDPR.
We have deliberately kept our sites light on tracking. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or other non-essential tracking technologies, and we do not set non-essential cookies. For that reason we do not show a cookie consent banner.
We want to be upfront about the things our sites do use, which we explain below: our website analytics (Webflow Analyze), which uses your browser’s local storage rather than cookies to record anonymous, non-identifying usage data; the loading of fonts from Google as a page loads; and spam protection on our forms. None of these sets an advertising or tracking cookie, and our analytics does not collect personal data - but we describe them here rather than claiming our sites store or share nothing.
Important: this position depends on us not adding tracking technologies. If in future we add Google Analytics, advertising or remarketing pixels, or enable Webflow’s enhanced visitor-level tracking, we would need to introduce a cookie consent banner and rewrite this section.
Our contact and free report forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect against spam and automated abuse. It checks that a form is being submitted by a real person, which is necessary to provide the form service you are using, and may store a small token on your device for this purpose. Because it is strictly necessary for a service you have requested, it does not require consent.
Our sites are built and hosted on Webflow, which may set a small number of first-party cookies needed to operate and secure the sites.
Our sites use the typefaces Barlow and Roboto, served from Google’s servers (fonts.googleapis.com) through Webflow’s standard font loading. When you load a page, your browser sends a request to Google to fetch the fonts, and that request includes your IP address, which Google processes in order to serve the fonts. Google is the recipient of this request.
This is limited to delivering fonts. It does not set an advertising or tracking cookie on your device. You can read how Google handles data at policies.google.com/privacy.
We use Webflow Analyze to understand how our sites are used - for example which pages are visited - at a high level. We have set it to track all visitors. Analyze does not use cookies; instead it uses your browser’s local storage with anonymous, non-identifying identifiers, and records aggregate usage data only. It does not collect personal data, does not identify you, and does not track you across other websites. We do not use Webflow’s enhanced, visitor-level tracking.
In short, our sites set no advertising or tracking cookies. The only technologies that store or access anything on your device are: form spam protection (Cloudflare Turnstile), which is strictly necessary; and our website analytics (Webflow Analyze), which uses anonymous local storage rather than cookies. Our sites also load fonts from Google, which sends a request to Google as a page loads but sets no cookie. Each of these is described in sections 3 to 5 above.
You can control and delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. Because our sites rely only on strictly necessary items and anonymous analytics, doing so should not stop the sites working, though it may affect form submission where spam protection is required. Guidance for common browsers is available at aboutcookies.org.
We may update this policy if we change the technologies our sites use. The version published on our sites, with its effective date, applies.
